HOW TO SET BEECONZ
- Choose a name for your Beeconz to reflect you, your event or business.
- This can be different from your User Name and will not impact it.
- By default, the first 2 initials of your Beeconz Name will appear (Joe's Business -JB).
- You have the option to change that to any alternative image you choose.
- By default, your Beeconz is set to "Pin" which locks it to the location initially set.
- There is the option to "Update Beeconz Location" on the "Edit Beeconz" screen.
- “Track” allows Beeconz to track the location of the device that set the Beeconz.
- This is a good option for mobile services that don't want to constantly update their location.
- By default, your Beeconz can only be seen by users that have input your code.
- “Make Public” allows for anyone in the area to be able to see your Beeconz on their map if they select the "Public" button on their primary screen. Recommended for businesses & public events.
- "Show Hours" displays the hours that your Beeconz is currently scheduled for. Recommended for businesses & public events.
- Note: This shows the hours that your Beeconz is active which may not necessarily be your operating hours.
- By default, Beeconz uses your current location when a Beeconz is set.
- "Input Remote" allows you to either input a known address or select one of your pre-selected "PreBeez".
- Even if you are currently at the location, if there is a physical address it is recommended that you input that to help ensure accuracy.
One Time:
- This allows you to set a single Beeconz that lasts for up to 7 days as a continuous duration.
- Best for one-time events.
7 Days or less:
- This allows you to set a single Beeconz that lasts up to 7 days.
- Start & stop times can be scheduled & edited independently per day.
- Best for short-term events.
Weekly: Available with Custom Code Lease
- This allows you to set a single Beeconz on a weekly schedule.
- Start & stop times can be scheduled & edited independently per day.
- This schedule will repeat on a weekly basis with no further input.
- Best for businesses with a consistent schedule.
- Beeconz can be Paused if needed.
- You can create an optional link to either your social media or webpage.
- Currently linkable to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Yelp, or a webpage.
- Can be used for personal, event, or business promotion.
- Offer additional information such as reviews or menus.
- You are now ready to set your Beeconz.
